In short: you can learn without an account, and then everything stays on your iPhone. Signing in is optional and only syncs your own learning records. No tracking, no ads.

Using the app without an account
Lessons, exercises, your practice journal, personal rules and notes are stored in the app on your device. Nothing of this leaves the device unless you sign in.
Optional sign-in and sync
If you choose Sign in with Apple, our server receives only Apple's anonymous user identifier — no name and no email address. It then stores what is needed to sync between your devices: your settings (language, path, theme), lesson progress, favourites, submitted exercises, final-test attempts and results, and the practice-journal records you enter (accounts, trades, costs, notes). Sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes.
Final tests
Final-test questions are served and graded by our server so that results cannot be altered. This requires sign-in; attempts and results are kept in your account.
Subscription
The Basic and Pro subscriptions (including the free trial) are sold and charged by Apple under Apple's terms. We never receive payment details. When you subscribe while signed in, the app sends Apple's signed transaction to our server, and Apple notifies our server of renewals, refunds and expiry. We store only the transaction identifiers, product, status and expiry date, linked to your account, to unlock your plan on your devices.
Content updates
The app downloads signed lesson packages from our server. This request carries no account and no identifier; like any internet request it momentarily involves your IP address, which we do not store or evaluate.
Market prices and their sources
For live portfolio prices the app asks our server for the price of the assets you hold, using only the asset identifier (for example “crypto:bitcoin”) and the display currency — no account, no quantities and no identifier of you or your device. Our server fetches prices from CoinGecko (crypto) and Twelve Data (stocks and ETFs) and keeps one shared copy for all users for at most 24 hours; your data is never sent to these providers. Powered by CoinGecko (coingecko.com) and Twelve Data (twelvedata.com); the CoinGecko API and its data are the property of CoinGecko. Prices you enter yourself stay on your device.
Where data is stored
Our server runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database and R2 storage) in the European Union region. Cloudflare acts as our processor.
Export and deletion
In Settings you can export all your records as a file at any time. “Delete my data” removes the records from the device and, if you are signed in, deletes your account and all synced data on our server, including subscription records. Deleting data does not cancel an Apple subscription — cancel it in your App Store account settings.
No tracking
The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no trackers of any kind, and it does not connect to any broker or exchange.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Slovenia: Informacijski pooblaščenec). Most of this you can do directly in the app; for anything else write to [email protected].
