Terms of use — School of Trading (iOS app)
Apple's standard licence applies to the app. These terms add what you need to know about learning content, your portfolio records and market data.
Last updated:
1. What applies
School of Trading is sold through the App Store. Apple's standard licence (the standard EULA) governs your use of the app, and Apple's terms apply to subscriptions and refunds. These terms add to it; where they differ, Apple's licence prevails.
2. Learning, not advice
Lessons, exercises, tests and tools are for learning. Nothing in the app is investment, tax or legal advice or a recommendation to buy or sell. The app does not connect to any broker or exchange and never places orders.
3. Your portfolio records
The portfolio records the transactions you enter yourself. The app does not hold money or assets. Values and results are calculated from your records and the prices available; a holding without a price is shown as not valued, not as zero.
4. Market data
Where live prices are switched on, crypto prices come from CoinGecko (“Powered by CoinGecko”) and stock and ETF prices from Twelve Data (“Data provided by Twelve Data”). Every price shows its source and time. Prices may be delayed, end-of-day for some exchanges, out of date or unavailable, and are shown for information only. Prices you enter yourself are marked as manual.
5. Third-party data
The CoinGecko API and its data are the property of CoinGecko; CoinGecko has no liability for any use of the CoinGecko API or its data. Twelve Data's data belongs to Twelve Data and its licensors, who likewise have no liability towards you. AI TECH provides market data as received and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for errors, delays or gaps in it.
